123 Haiku

Our zip codes, area codes and dress codes are all different now. We also don't have Tara's Little Debbie erasable board to express our creativity on anymore. These are true statements but lame excuses for not playing 123 Haiku. So I am bringing it back blogging style. Play if you so choose.

Here is how to play for those of you who want to join in...

In real life (opposed to virtual life), a person would yell out "123 Haiku" at any random moment in time and then they would also choose the subject, such as cats, Napoleon, or Swedish Fish. The others in the room (who wanted to play) would quietly but quickly figure out their three lines of five syllables, seven syllables and five syllables having to do with the subject the instigator had called out. (See poem at the top of this post). Whoever came up with a correctly syllabled (yes, that is a word, I looked it up) poem first, was the winner. Nothing was actually won of course.

For our virtual world, I will give you a subject in the title of the post and my own haiku. Then you can submit your own as a comment.
